EMPLOYMENT SERVICES

Some RARC employees work at the RARC facility, 1813 N. Ash in Jenks, Oklahoma. The sheltered workshop, operates Monday through Friday, employs dozens of workers.  Under the guidance of Freda Cowart, the Executive Director, workers  perform piece work utilizing a variety of different tasks to fulfill quotas from companies that contract with RARC.  Training Specialists are on hand to assist with minute to minute operations.

Many employees work outside the facility for businesses like The Renaissance Hotel,

Carrabba's Restaurant, or one of the many Met locations, as well as many other businesses in the community.

Some employers utilize a group of RARC employees who, on a regular basis, perform one job such as rolling silverware, making beds, washing dishes, or cleaning the bathroom sink. These groups are supervised and coached during their daily jobs.

We also have individuals that are hired directly by businesses.  These individuals are trained by the companies with assistance from RARC's job coaches.
